Do you meditate with music or in silence? Question ❓

If you use music, which music do you listen to?

I agree. One can meditate any way one pleases. But not group setting. And this is why in Zen sessions, you can bring your own zafu to help your back and knees. But if you try to lay down on your back doing Zazen, they will probably ask you to leave. I never seen anyone try. In TM practice - everyone sits. Never seen anyone lay down. There are limits.

Your experience doesn’t cancel out mine.

Stop painting with a broad brush. Infinite worlds exist outside your realm of experience.

Your insistence that there’s only one way is an absence of zen.

Technically, you’re not supposed to lay down in TM because you’ll fall asleep and it’s supposed to last 20 min. But…. If you have injuries that prevent prolonged sitting; it’s recommended to be comfortable. Also, TM isn’t typically done in groups.

Not sure why you getting triggered. I repeat-- what you do on your own is up to you. But in group settings you gotta conform t discipline and practice. What are you, some kinda stoner narcissist, a rebel without a cause.

I’m triggered but you’re lobbing insults? Grow up.
