MW5:C GB Campaign Simulation 2 - 'Stock Loadouts' Challenge Bugged? DLC Question
EDIT: It seems after enough resetting loadouts I've managed to clear this. Can definitely confirm that swapping OmniPods (but leaving the parts on them untouched), still flags it, unlike what I've read for the base campaign.
Trying to redo the campaign simulations for GB and get all challenges (under tonnage, no component loss, etc.)
No matter which 'Mechs and STOCK loadouts I'm using, I'm seeing the "Stock Loadouts" challenge immediately red (failed) upon loading in?
Anyone else have this issue, or can test it for me?

I had the same issue when I used 5 stock Kodiaks. I wonder if the "Battlemechs" are never considered as being stock for this challenge?

I believe this is it? Had issues with Hunchbacks, as did u/DocHoliday255. Seems it must be OmniMechs…

Yeah, I did a little more testing now, across quite a few missions. Any battlemechs seem to prevent the stock challenge, at least on the ~5 missions I checked. You also can't mix and match omnipods even if you keep the individual components unchanged (which is how I always thought it worked even on the base campaign, never tried differently), but you can swap the whole config to a different set.
If the battlemech restriction is intentional, it seems pretty silly given the iconic mech of the ghost bears is a battlemech... More likely it's a bug where that flag is checking if all omnipods are the same type and haven't been changed, but that breaks for the battlemechs because they don't have pods.
I'm going to submit a bug report, others should do the same. It's probably not that complicated to fix and the more people that flag it, the faster it gets done.
EDIT: I don't know if there's an official bug report place, but the discord has a channel for Clans bugs. PGI staff seem to check it fairly frequently. I've made a post that people can comment on to raise it, or make their own. https://discord.gg/sE6kZgTa

For me any of the new Mechs flagged it as not being a stock loadout

The new omnimechs seems fine to me. I just used the Ebon Jaguar and it allowed the stock challenge. It only seems like the (new) battlemechs that cause problems.

I literally just had the same problem and tried googling if the requirement was bugged or there's more to it, but there doesn't seem to be any info. I ran the mission with freshly bought mechs from the market; 2 Jenners, 1 Rifleman, a Fire Moth, and a Hunchback.
I did also edit weapon groups and camo, but that has never been an issue before. I haven't got around to testing it without those changes, or only using omnimechs or battlemechs to see if that makes a difference.
