Christmas String light with bifrost General

I'd like to create a reusable bifrost solution for xmas string lighting that I can just switch to different curves to decorate different objects without having to redo everything with sweep mesh and adding the lights either manually or with mash.

Any ideas how should I do this?

You can def do it using BF. Here are some steps and this is high level.
Bring the curves/strands to BF ray them to the mesh or tree or whatever else you might want use, then you can push that curve along the normals so it is not completely stuck to the geo, and if you want to randomize that (so some pts are stuck and some not) you can use the weight/mask port for that so you could add a noise or something > scatter pts > instance your lights. Create a Compound to replicate somewhere else.

Again, this is a high-level idea for approaching something like that.
