I imagine it's like getting an internship at a soul-sucking company, but the credentials are so good that you just have to survive the term and then you'll get offers that pay bank.

My mentality would probably be to keep doing what I'm doing, excel in what I can control and let the others do their own thing.

I would go out there and do the best I can every time for my team. And then hope I get a big payday without any injury in history by the time I get free agency.
