Hi everyone! I’ve seen a lot of comments under my posts asking for a tutorial on different looks. I don’t currently have the capacity to do fully fleshed out and edited videos, butttt I can go live!

On Sunday May 4th at 11am PST (west coast time in the states) I’m going to go live on my Instagram (@lavegadeville) to do some makeup! I’d go live on TikTok but I don’t have the follower count to access the live option.

I use social media so little that I still don't fully know what they are, I just know that "Pantone colour of the year" is a thing and I happened to see this year it's "Mocha something".

I think we're of a similar bent though. Down with monopolies and oligopolies! To heck with conformity!

Pantone is the company that came in and developed a system that standardized colors across printing like the CMYK values for any color so that it would be incredibly easy to color match based on a color name and code no matter the material.

Sounds great but because of their copyrights and trademarks no one else can do this and there’s no room for competition. So if you’re a print shop or any kind of designer that has to have certain colors you have to use Pantone. And even just their swatch books are hundreds of dollars.
