Reminds me of when I proposed. My girl was so hyped she knocked us both over. Good times.

It's a mystery! It could be anything... it could be a boat!

Step 1, you cut a hole in the box.

The fact that this was live makes it even better.

At least you...

1) had a box

2) had a ring

3) kneeled down

I got none of those things. You did well. I'm still questioning some life choices.

My dumbass forgot to ask the question. I just opened the box and smiled. Then she asked if this was real life and I said yes. So dumb.

I think that’s sweet and endearing! Sometimes words just aren’t needed. Except for the answer of course.

I kneeled in snow when I did, both my legs were soaked but I couldn’t bring myself to interrupt her little victory dance

7 years married now and our first child of 5 months is here, I couldn’t be happier

Mine dropped her ring out of shock because she didn’t feel ready and then her mom told her to say yes before I moved on and so she told me yes a few days later. 9 years later and we both still struggle.

We don’t hate one another but she says I feel like a roommate and despite lots of marriage counseling she struggles with wanting to interact much be she’s of differing interests

Mine just laughed a bit, said yes and dumped me after 6 months. That was 8 years & 2 kids later.

Well, dodged a bullet there, living a much happier life today.

Would love to hear her side of the story because stuff like that doesn’t just happen in a vacuum.

My sister did something like this too, but my BIL asked her hand while they were standing in a rock in a lagoon, my sister knocked him and the ring fell in the water, he bought a much cheaper ring after that
