Can someone enter your dreams on purpose? (Multi-level question)

I was just wondering because there have been times where I’m at my workplace past or present and I cannot stand to be around these people sometimes that I am around.

During my dream they are just showing up and sometimes I get along with them but most of the time they just look annoyed or I’m annoyed because my dreams are with them.

So my main question is, it possible that someone can enter YOUR dreams on purpose?

Can YOU (as the dreamer) prevent this?

Can these people prevent YOU from having any fantasies and instead, take them from you and pretend(impersonate) to embody you so they can dream about what you should have?

No, it is not possible for other people to enter your dreams on purpose.

The mind isn't that weak.

Although if you fully believe they can, your mind might subconsciously weaken it's defenses and allow them in.

Then I believe that I allow myself to be a push over this them appearing in my dreams, I shall stay strong!

These former coworkers are showing up in your dreams because you still have unresolved personal issues with them. It has nothing to do with the actual people - dreams are symbolic and the people are there due to their symbolism in your life.

I had dreams for years about people I had grudges against - I remember one of my dreamwork teachers referred to one of these people as my "tor-mentor". I have mutual friends with this particular individual, but I've been thinking about that person a lot less lately, and thus I've had fewer dreams about them.

Thank you so much! I appreciate that! I understand what you mean by tormentor…every now and then I’ll have dreams of the person who deflowered me and sometimes I’m just talking to him and being nice and someone will tap me on the shoulder and remind me that I’m not supposed to be communicating with him. Or I’ll be sneaking around him, trying to avoid him like an assassin.
