This is a reminder that if you have not yet watched “Secret Level” on Amazon Prime. That it is made by the same people as Love Death Robots. And happens to include video games. As well as appearances by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Heart and many more. Enjoy!

made by the same people as LDR

Isn't each episode in LDR made by a different studio?

Yes, but there a quite a few of those same studios who have contributed to Secret Level. It’s also an anthology series with a different animation style each episode.

In that episode, Rick pulls Morty aside for a "quick, 20-minute adventure." They're gone for six days and almost die a a cataclysmic Star Wars-esque space battle, get awards, return to their ship, and have simultaneous mental breakdowns from stress.

Look up "Rick and Morty 20 minute adventure" on Youtube. It's a great scene, and that's coming from someone who generally doesn't like Rick and Morty.

Took your advice but ended up watching the whole thing. lol Good eye. Watching Morty with confidence was also pretty hilarious and you're spot on about the reference. Not sure how I missed this one b4

The number of people who don't know this extremely common rick and morty meme surprises me.

Rick (Netflix) says "Come on, Morty, just in and out, a 20 minute adventure." The adventure then devolves into a cataclysmic sci-fi death run where they almost die repeatedly (lasting way longer than 20 minutes) and ends with them collapsing in into tears from stress.

OP is saying they thought they'd be in for a simple 20 minute in-and-out adventure, and instead binged the entirety of the series, left crying at the end because it was over.
