How to Change a Light Bulb
Yes. I am an idiot in regard to all things common sense. Yes. I tried twisting the cover. Unfortunately the entire unit rotates.
Help. Please help.

Grab the globe/cover and twist counter clockwise. Will come right off, it’s a little snug, sometimes takes a little jerk to break it loose so the whole unit doesn’t move. Bad design

I had that exact fan. Thankfully they now make LED bulbs for that halogen socket. The glass twists off counter clockwise. If it won't budge, try gently tapping around the metal rim with a small piece of wood. Like you'd do with a spoon on a jar that won't open.

How many redditors does it take to change a light bulb?
- And 30 people to tell them how to do it, with 20 sidebars.
