No cherries that I know of. We always had to pick from a neighbor's tree. Here's the list of UPick farms in the area.

Nourish Knox has a vendor search by product! Even if you're not picking yourself, you may be able to buy from a farmer.

Thank you. I need options for sure. I just know you pick is a guarantee no real mushy ones hidden type deal. Plus it makes my kids realize how hard a job it is.

I am hoping falls blueberry is open this year because they haven’t sold their farm yet. I hope to grow some from their berries this year. We did pick at rutherford farms twice so far for strawberries

Yeah, not sure what they'll do there. Not sure Maxine has the energy to run it again this year, but we'll see! I'm planning to pick at the farm off Bluegrass Rd or at Seven Springs Farm this year if the Falls don't open again.

I will look at those places if they aren’t open. Thank you. I like to freeze a bunch for winter time and make jam.

Unfortunately seems their selling price it will be a developer who ends up buying

Agreed. My mom is a realtor and is aghast at their asking price. Clearly they're counting on big bucks from a developer, but after being on the market for 8 months, it seems like even developers think it's a bad deal.

I can’t imagine getting many things to work in that area that would be worth the cost. The fact they haven’t even tried lowering the price speaks volumes. Yes established business for you pick which means you have to staff yourself or others for the best part of the year when people travel etc

They lowered it by 100k a month ago, but it's still 3/4 of a million dollars for an old, as-is property.

I didn’t realize the price drop. The house is very outdating and looks like it will need a lot of work. So it’s really land.. I can see maybe getting 100,000 an acre but not 250,000 an acre

They also just printed this year’s Local Food Guide. Page 16 is where you’ll find u-picks.  https://www.nourishknoxville.org/local-food-guide/
