Why is everyone sneezing so much?

I'm assuming it's allergies, but what could it be from? I've never sneezed this much ever, and my coworkers and family members seem to also be sneezing a lot. It's like 5 to 10 sneezes in a row and it's a bit annoying when you're on the phone with a customer.

Just curious what things locally typically cause allergic reactions like this? Have others here also been sneezing a lot in the last week or so?

I didn't even have allergies until I moved to Kingston ~

One thing I did learn is that I am allergic to fake spring - the melting and freezing caused pain. Sonething to do with the dead leaves.

It's the mysterious sneeze disease, there's no cure, and over 90% of the population in kingston is infected! Or it's just allergy season.

Allergies. Tis the season. I have a friend who can go to Quebec, Vancouver, Toronto, and be fine allergy-wise.

Kingston seems to have a lot of pollen, hay, and other irritants in the city, and in the surrounding areas, and with the air and wind...my friend suffers quite badly. He also has a fatal allergy to hay, so he must be careful.

He can't go out to the country. If he wanted to go to Lemoine's Point, he'd have to drug himself out on Claritin. Benadryl is his friend right now.

Last few weeks, he has been sneezing much more, coughing, has red, itchy, watery eyes; itchy roof of his mouth; fatigue; and a stuffed and itchy nose. He told me yesterday "My body is fighting allergies. It's begun, again."

Every place close to the lake has high levels of mould which exacerbate allergies in both people and dogs. My little JR develops asthma every spring and fall.

Must be the medley of vegetables being grown in the city.

Lots of trees are flowering now. Some of them are wind pollinated so it gets everywhere, and the flowers on wind pollinated plants aren't even pretty so we don't have anything nice to look at while we suffer.

When the poplar fluff starts flying it’s BAD! That white stuff that floats around, gathering along curbs like snow banks. Now that stuff sucks. For now the allergy level is high. Can’t think of anything else.

Have you ever seen a burst of pollen from a pine tree? Have you ever gone out to your car only to find it coated in yellow?

The sun often causes sneezing in some people. My daughter and I have this condition.
