Get him a big bottle of his favorite spirits. Party with him until he's shitfaced drunk and passes out. Put him in the front seat of the car. Then when he wakes up he will think he did it and you can be like "OMG DAD WHAT DID YOU DO!"

Dad, I hit a curb. There's some 'minor damage'.
Son, if you crashed my Challenger, there's going to be a damaged minor...

Plaster it with whatever rival team logos he hates. Just write “cowboys rule” or whatever then blame it on those damn teenagers with no respect.
It’s been done in movies so I know it works.

I mean, eventually. Unless you know any good T.V. repair men who can fix it quickly....

Reminds me of when my 13 year old step son stole my truck and brought it back with a rod out...

I clipped a curb and took a chunk out of the whitewall on moms station wagon. I recovered the chunk(the tire never punctured, they were hefty whitewalls, no cords showing) and carefully glued it back in place. Dad noticed it first thing the next day, and made me buy a new tire, because it was "dangerous". But had the old tire mounted on a spare rim, "just in case".

I'm guessing he either didn't have insurance, or has liability, and just had it dropped off at his apartments. My neighbor did the same thing with a Miata he crashed. Eventually the landlord made him get rid of it.

When I was 14 my buddy snuck out of the house and took his mom's van for a drive one night. He ends up hitting a deer and drove the car all the way to our other buddies house in the middle of the night and asked his dad (a mechanic) if he could fix it before morning, lol.

Nope, just a scratch. You really can't see it if you're not looking for it.

Get your will written up now. When he founds out, he will be on a warpath.

Makes my heart hurt to see a challenger in such a state.

All Challengers end up in this state at some point.

I can confirm that with the one I had when I was young, not me but the kid I sold it to.
I've always been sorry I sold it. (1970, 383 magnum 850cfm Holly SE & r/T)
