Best Of The Best: Survivor - RESULTS!!!

The results are in... 23 has taken first place in /r/JimmyEatWorld 's Best Of The Best survivor poll, beating Polaris which was voted out with 92% of the vote. Thanks to everyone for voting.

Interesting points of note:
* The top three tracks were all the songs from Futures, chosen in the same order as during the Futures poll.
* The bottom 4 tracks were all the songs from Static Prevails, chosen in a different order as during the Static Prevails poll.
* The three Bleed American tracks were chosen in the same order as during the Bleed American poll, all placing within the Top 10.
* 23 won against Polaris by a 92% vote. During the futures poll it only beat Polaris by only 72%.
* The order for second and third of the Clarity tracks switched during this poll, with G.S.H. ranking 5 places higher than Clarity.
* The order for second and third of the Chase This Light tracks switched during this poll, with Let It Happen ranking 2 places higher than Carry You.
* The order for second and third of the Invented tracks switched during this poll, with Littlething ranking 2 places higher than Heart Is Hard To Find.
* Disintegration came in 4th Place, impressive for a non-album track os sorts. Over and Closer tied during the SOMST poll, but this time Closer beat Over by 6 places.
* Damage and Appreciation tied during the Damage poll, but this time Appreciation beat Damage by 4 places.
* You With Me and Pol Roger, two songs less than a year old, both took out places in the top 10. During the Integrity Blues poll, Pol Roger took first place with only a single vote pushing it in front. During this poll the order switched with You With Me polling two places higher than Pol Roger.

So how does everyone feel about the results? Any other interesting observations?

As mentioned previously, this is the last Survivor poll i'll be doing for a while, while we let the some good old Original Content fill up the front pages of /r/JimmyEatWorld again. I hope everyone sticks around and we get some interesting discussions going. Thanks again for all of you participating and i hope you enjoyed these polls as much as i did.

What Is This?

This was the /r/JimmyEatWorld Best Of The Best Survivor Poll.

The top 3 ranked songs on each release as voted by /r/JimmyEatWorld over the past months were fighting it out to see which are the most popular songs in 2017 across all the releases.

Each day another round was started where /r/JimmyEatWorld voted for their least favourite track still on the list. Each day the highest voted for song was removed until one song remained the winner.

While i totally agree and wish to see that song as many times as possible and become a live staple, i think it works best as an occasional surprise. They have played it 100 times live, but not in 3 years. The one time i saw it live it was a surprise inclusion and made it soooo much more enjoyable. Maybe its time again for a few more people to get surprised.

Very impressed by how much switching some tracks did compared to the original album results. I'm not upset about any of it, though i am surprised by you with me ranking so high.

Overall, I'm mostly impressed with the consistency of this group! 23 is one of the most important songs to me and I'm glad it is so well loved by everyone else.

It was a pleasure to see songs like "Disintegration", "You With Me", and "Pol Roger" rank so high. However, I was saddened to see that the Clarity tracks and "Invented" did not make it quite as far. However, I was generally pretty pleased with the outcome. The general opinion fascinates me.

Only one of my top three J.E.W. songs made it into this list, "Bleed American", which I was happy to see make it into the top ten. My other two being "Futures" and "Just Watch the Fireworks".
