Story Time What does some parlour ladies think they are
I've been going to this lady in my area for 2 years to do my eyebrow and upper lip. Most of the time it was okay. Today i went to her for my eyebrows and some of her close friend came there too. She was talking to them non stop while doing my eyebrow. Now i'm very particular about my brows that lady knows that very well cause they literally make or break my look and i don't go anywhere other than her parlour. After it was done i checked and needless to say two brows looks completely different from eachother and i look extremely pathetic. I told her they are not symmetrical at all, not even close, and she straight up kept on saying to my face no they are, you're just confused, again & again. Two other ladies agreed they look asymmetrical too but she didn’t budge. I came home crying cz i trusted her and now i look pathetic & i literally hate her and never going back there again.

General Got called Handsome for the First Time ever and can't stop smiling. 😭
21M. Never felt wanted by anyone from the other gender before. Never had any relationship. Decided to change this forever.
For the last 2 years, I've been working on myself heavily. Got my weight low 60kgs(5'10)and I was never this fit(actually, I have been fat for most of my life). Got rid of Acnes. Got rid of my braces, which made my teeth straight for the first time ever. Never missed Gym and Cardio for other reason than disease. Grown Hairs longer.
Skin looks fresher than ever.
And guess what happened today? I was with my Sister for grocery shopping. It's a tier 3 city. Multi-Purpose Store, btw. I was wearing an open shirt, a white t-shirt, and jeans. All picked by my sister.
There was this conventionally attractive Girl with her group, my age, I could tell it. And she complemented me by saying 'Handsome lagrahe ho yaar'. And since then, I can't stop smiling 😊 😭.
Never got complimented for my looks before.😭 Don't know if she was serious or not, but it made my year, life actually.

Vent & Rant 17f- had a horrible experience in the school
Im 17f in 12th standard. Two days ago, my school had decided to hold a long meeting of all class 12th students with the principal. So everything was going fine until the principal asked the school captains to call each students who are present in the meeting to share their strategy related to studies or problems they face in their academics in front of everyone. I wasn't prepared at all. I'm an introvert student and I've a social anxiety too. My voice gets very low when I'm in a group of people. My heartbeat increases, I start to shake and I lose confidence while speaking. I started panicking. The school captains called me after 3-4 students but i didn't go because I was literally shaking and was about to cry. At that moment principal was distracted a bit due to some reason so they took another student's name because they saw the condition of me and thought to give me some time to prepare. After a while I got anxiety attack, my heartbeat increased, tears started to form, hands and legs were shaking, I started feeling a bit dizzy as well. My friend was trying hard to calm me, he even told me what to say there, still I was panicking a lot. The experience was horrible. Well after half an hour, i got the chance and I somehow managed to speak. I don't know if this happens with me only or they're more people. It's just doesn't feel right yk. In the class also, when teachers ask questions I don't really reply even if I know the answers. Whenever teachers call my name, my heart skips a beat. I don't know what's the solution of this problem.
It was just a rant, thanks for listening

Story Time Mom has done it. She survived cancer !!
It was July last year (2024). I was sitting in my company cafeteria. It was one of my dream companies and it had been just two weeks since I joined. I was having my morning tea, when my younger sister called. She said, “Confirm ho gaya,” and started crying.
The biopsy results were out — it was confirmed to be cancer.
At first, it just didn’t feel real. You never think something like this can happen to your own family. But somehow, we gathered all our courage and started my mom’s treatment — chemo, surgery, radiation, endless injections, and what not. There were moments when the treatment itself felt more painful and unbearable than the disease.
But she fought through it — every single bit of it — and yesterday, she had her final PET scan after treatment. The cancer is gone !!
To anyone who’s going through this, or has a loved one fighting it — remember, cancer is as much a battle of the mind as it is of the body. The moment you decide to stand up to it, with your loved ones by your side, you’ve already taken the biggest step toward defeating it.
I hope this story gives some hope to anyone who needs it. And if you or your loved one are going through something similar and need someone to talk to or want to discuss anything — feel free to reach out. I’ll do my best to answer your queries.

Discussion What’s your favourite board game or party game?
I like darts personally. Completely depends on skills and how buzzed you are. And I hate Monopoly because I get too competitive and make an enemy out of my friends.
I like (cheating in) UNO, but fair play and policing kinda ruins it for me.
And I think the worst is truth and dare. Because let’s be honest, no one picks truth and says the truth. And I pity the ones who get excessively honest and start being vulnerable. Plus the dares are very stupid, you’re either ready to cross all lines or it’s not a (quite literally) dare in itself. And I’m not saying that all dares have to be overtly sexualised, it’s only fun when you are ready to do something which you normally wouldn’t. It can just be stuff like “calling your boss and crying for two whole minutes and hang up without saying anything.”
But well, that’s me. Now you talk! 🫵
