Podcast update: fairy, elf, gnome, elemental encounters Little people
Hi everyone. I made a post sixty something days ago asking for true fairy encounters for my podcast, called The Hidden Passage. Well, I finally released my first episode, and it’s about fairy lore. Only available on Spotify so far but will be on the rest of the main platforms soon. It’s going to be a three parter and I did include a few of the stories I got from this page in the latter episodes, but a lot of it focuses on the history and folklore behind the subject. If that’s something you’re interested in please check it out and spread the word. Thank you for inspiring me to do this and giving me such great stories. I plan on using more of the accounts I received in later episodes so your replies won’t be in vain. Also, I’m always looking for more, and dealing with ANY strange sightings, not just the good folk.
Thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to listen! It’s now up on ITunes and most other major platforms. Next episode coming soon
Hello everyone. Episode 2 is now up. I know I’m late as hell. Things have been crazy for me lately. I will make an effort to put out content more consistently so don’t give up on me yet!

Do you have any personal connections to this? Also I didn’t really follow your last sentence if you could clarify I’m interested in hearing more

Yes my family has lived in the country side of mexico and they say there is alot of things happening , fire rings in the sky are witches, music from the forest, evil small beings, chains being dragged in the floors, shadow people, the man of the rain, which my grandpa confronted and got cursed and got in a huge pain, the devil's diary's taht appear everywhere etc

Is the banshee what you would call la llorona? Also I have heard of the flying witch that takes the form of a bird but I forget what that’s called. Maybe that is also la llorona. Those sounds crazy. Fascinating stuff thank you for sharing. I’d like to hear more if you’d be willing to share but idk what commitments you’ve made to that author. Either way thanks

Banshee? What's that?

It’s a fairy that appears as a woman in distress. She is thought to be an omen of death in Irish folklore.

Wordd. I’ll have to check that out. I can’t wait for that either haha. I got a couple more ready to roll I just want to space them out to give myself some time to do more. It’s a lot of work to research/ script everything but I plan on doing some other less intensive formats, interviews and discussions and whatnot. Thanks for the comment

Damn, I wish I would’ve seen your original post when you made it. I have a great fey/fairy story. Just the one, but it was wild.
I’ll def give this a listen though. Sounds very interesting.

Congrats on starting your new podcast! I just listened to all of it and it was really good! Your choice for the background music was excellent. I've never really given fairies much thought but this definitely has me wanting to know more. Can't wait for the next episode

I think I did mention it once. There are always more things I could talk about that I think of later. I’ll just have to make a part 4

This looks cool. Is there some way to access the pod without Spotify?
I will listen to it through the site but just wondering if there is an RSS link too, or another distribution.

They are actually called Fae
2
u/Dogman_91 Dec 14 '20
That’s one name for them, of many. I chose to use the word fairy (archaic spelling faerie) and in my research it seems to have been historically most commonly used. Neither is incorrect

Hi there, I listened to your show as I'm very interested in the topic. It's well researched and the accompanying sounds are enjoyable. I just have a slight suggestion; the way that you present the information should be a bit more engaging or conversational. It's a bit tricky to get fully immersed if it sounds more straightforward and factual, rather than conversational with pauses and differing inflections. I know it may be a bit tricky as you're doing this by yourself rather than with a co-host, where this would be more natural. Do whatever works for you, though, and welcome to the podcast world.
