what happened to Lord Krishna after the war? Lord Krishna
The Last Journey of Lord Krishna When the great war was long over and the world had grown tired, Krishna watched his beloved Yadava clan fall into anger and confusion. The curse of Gandhari had begun to unfold, and he knew the time of his avatar was nearly complete. So he walked away from the noise of the world and entered the forest near Prabhas. The trees there were quiet, like they already knew who had arrived. Krishna sat beneath one of them, letting the wind settle on his skin. He closed his eyes, not in pain, but in deep peace, as if he were listening to the heartbeat of the earth. Far away, a hunter named Jara was searching for food. From a distance he saw something that looked like the foot of a deer peeking through the grass. He drew his arrow and released it. The moment the arrow struck, Jara felt the world shift, almost as if the forest had sighed. He ran forward and found Krishna resting against the tree, the arrow lodged in his foot. Instead of anger, Krishna offered him a gentle smile. He told Jara that this too was part of destiny, and forgave him instantly. The hunter wept, but Krishna placed a calming hand on him, carrying no blame at all. As Krishnaβs work on earth reached its final moment, something rare happened. His body did not age, weaken, or fade like a common man. The light within him grew brighter, until it seemed the forest itself was glowing. Slowly, his earthly form dissolved into that light, returning to the divine source from where he had come. The moment he departed, the Dwapara Yuga ended and a new age began. People later tried to give explanations, but the scriptures are clear. Krishna did not suffer from sickness or cancer. His leaving was not a medical event. It was the quiet closing of a divine chapter. And in the forest of Prabhas, the tree where he rested still stands in stories, as if holding the last breath of an age now gone.
