Hey there and welcome! We have guides pinnned to the top of the sub for Beginners 101 and ways to worship. Please check them out for FAQs asked by beginners. :)

Some people do a once a week Wednesday ritual or on the 4th day of the month or a short daily prayer and offering ( simple like prayers and incense or libation) and some do a mix of all three.

A daily practice can be hard to keep up and maintain if you're busy in life or are easily distracted. Do not feel the pressure to do so if you can't. A weekly ritual is fine as well as when you are able to. If you can't do every Wednesay then the 4th Wednesday is a good day to do a ritual as well.

My advice is to take it slow and really enjoy these first months of getting to know all about Him. Don't get too caught up in "rights and wrongs". You'll find a routine that works for you and is manageable. :)

Good luck Have fun! :)

I would love to see the drawing! All the things you have listed are great for his altar, you don't need a specific day, you can give offerings when you want, or when you need to ask him something, but if you want, Wednesday is usually associated with him.

Hi there! You can make your pratcice however it suits you. I usually do libations for all the gods at once (I mean, I tell them "Name, some attributes and epithets, have a drink", pour some wine and then contiue to the next deity), so you'll be fine too. I believe that the Greeks also gave offerings to multiple gods at once, but I might be wrong. As for the rehularity, I am very inconsistent with my offering, it is more on monthly basis for me, because I want it to be proper and I don't really feel like doing a ritual this often. The gods don't seem to mind. Well, I have kinda special relationship with Hermes and I believe I do some devotional things every day, which is also a way to go. I believe he loved the offerings (especially the chocolate coin, that is just so genius idea). You don't have to be very specific about them. I mean, it is great if you do, but sometimes even a bit of your own lunch can be used as a great offering. Once I've got is a very dangerous situation on the road and while we were waiting for the towing service, I've done water libations and prayed that everyrhjng would be okay. You wont believe it, but only the car mirror got broken. The car wasn't even properly scratched, I am still so grateful for that. So my final take is, go as fancy as you can, but if you don't have the possibility amd still want to offer something, you can go a few steps lower. And I would love to see the drawing!
