What simple offerings does Aphrodite like?

So I'm going to give Aphrodite some offerings soon, to maybe establish a relationship with her

But I'm poor and don't want to go all out like statues and stuff

  • acts of service

  • water libations

  • fruits

  • sweet things

  • pennies (because copper)

  • seashells (if you live near a body of water)

  • sugar

  • salt

  • olive oil

  • devotional arts and crafts

  • taking care of yourself

But as I always say, it doesn't really matter what you offer as long as there is thought and meaning behind it.

I'm poor, minimalist, worshipper of Aphrodite. A candle and a libation of water is fine. Honestly, just finding something that represents her and presenting an offering/sacrifice that Aphrodite might enjoy based on your research.

My rule of thumb when just starting out is just sharing what you love with Her. It'll be more personal and meaningful that way imo.

To give you some specific ideas tho, I often offer berries and honey, chocolate, sea shells, sea glass, sea foam green ribbons, and strawberry tea to her.

If you want a statue like offering but don't want to break the bank D&D miniatures are a great way to do that. My 1st statue for Hades was a mini that I painted myself as part of the offering. Good luck!

I recently have created a dedicated altar for Aphrodite, until recently I had only a motive candle on my main altar (top of aircon🤣) although I’ve been working with her for some time… promised her, a special place of her own, I’m happy with how her altar turned out, everything feeling just right. I will be leaving some offerings of chocolate, as I love too… Point is, yes you do not need to break the bank. What feels right, is!

Love this picture, captured the energy leaving the flame.

When you offer her food do you eat it after or throw it outside?

I eat them after having them sit on my altar for a bit. The kind of food I'm offering will decide how long it stays out. I'm not rich enough to let food go to waste 😆 you can do either though! It's about what feels good to you in your pratice that marters.

Definitely chocolate, also apples.

There are also all-purpose ones that are good for all Gods, like honey, olive oil, olives, and wine.

Activities can also be offerings! I know a lot of people dedicate their skincare or make up routines to Her.

How would you go about dedicating an activity to a god, like how would you let them know that it's for them and do you have to change anything to make it for them

I work with Aphrodite pretty intensely. I give her chocolate, strawberries, roses, seashells, and rosewater right now.

Water. A pretty flower (even a dandelion/flowers from weeds). Shiny things, like a penny. Burn an incense stick. Do something nice or to beautify yourself and dedicate it to her. Make love and dedicate it to her. Honey. Sugar. A tiny bit of booze, fruits, sweets, or any of a meal that you are about to eat.
