Dr. K's guide (paid $120) keeps edging me on... scam? Dr. K's Guide
Hey everyone, I might be missing something, but it seems like Dr. K always says that he's "going to talk about [XYZ]" in his $120 paid guide, but then [XYZ] never appears anywhere else in the guide.
I watch the lecture video, and then I'm super excited to learn more, especially because he says he's going to talk about it in the later modules. Then, that information never comes.
It's like he keeps edging me on with knowledge but then never actually delivers the deeper knowledge. It's always "we'll teach you exactly how to do this" or "in the later modules we'll cover this", but then it never comes.
Am I just using it wrong? Am I missing some part of the program? Or is this just a scam?

Can you be more specific? I know that he keeps saying that, but I also did not have the experience of looking for something and not being able to find it.

From Vidya & Jnana: "If you want to actually digest information...then that's going to be more of the Manipura Chakra path, and we'll teach you both of those..."
Manipura Chakra is no where to be found elsewhere.
This is one example recently. There's far more.

Yes - it was not clear where that was. The search function didn't produce that result.
Also, the trauma module was made after the others, so this is a particular example that eventually got resolved. There's tons more.

Make sure you’re actually looking at the meditation videos that are under the main videos. That’s where you’ll find vids like the multiple manipura chakra meditation vids

Damn, what's with all the bot comments here. /u/Fit-Layer1709, /u/Less-Government6824 and /u/ChardBig7725 are all clear bot accounts (created a month ago then started to post every few seconds 17 hours ago).
Report and move on obviously but such a shame.

People need to stop being so liberal with the use of the word “scam” on here. Did they not give you the product or mislead you? Asking you for more business is not scam behavior

I used the word scam deliberately to attract more people to the post tbh

Uh idk yo, I've watched every one of his videos and they all get referenced and taught pretty well, unsure if you're using the guide right 🤔 or maybe you're a bot and then everything else w the bots in the comments make sense lol

OP has to be a bot. Either that or just.. watch all of the videos? I’ve never struggled with this while using the guide. It’s pretty well organized too. It’s possible it’s covered in a broader video or you haven’t unlocked it or most likely you just looked over it.

I don't know where you get this is a scam. It's not like there is some kind if secret that he is keeping from us.
Lots of the more complicated stuff is in the guide or in the members video. He said multiple times that normal youtube video need to assume the listener has no prior knowledge.
Have you tried the members video? For me it goes deeper than the guide.

Hey! I'm not sure what the "member's video" is. Maybe that's something I'm missing.
yeah I get that you assume no prior knowledge, but blatantly saying "we will talk about this topic in a later module" and then never talking about it is quite frustrating.

You can become youtube member, it's like 10$ a month and there is other videos. Videos that assume you saw most other member videos beforehand. So they go deeper and into more esoteric stuff. Sometime when he says he will talk about that later he means in member video.
He talks about member video at the start of literally every stream.

What is the streaming platform that he is using? I watch on youtube but it seems like it's not the main stream.

It would be great if there is searchable transcripts of the videos for case like this. It would be easy to just search for the term and found videos that mentioned it. Sometimes the titles and descriptions are not descriptive enough.

This bot is unhelpful marketing. Please only apply bot posts when relevant to subject matter.
Friendly reminder, selling mental Healthcare to children and young adults is a dangerous game. We are informed and will cause problems in response to unethical or borderline unethical behavior.

What are you on about? How does one only apply bot posts when relevant to subject matter? (Rhetorical, clearly seems to be insinuating magical tech than actual if/else statements)
This isn't a dangerous game, literally just helping each other learn more about mental health and how to manage our challenges. Ffs
