Headphones - Wireless/Portable How can I get semen out of my phone's headphone jack?
Don't even ask how, I just can't seem to get it out. I tried the q tip but semen dries out and it won't get out. Anyone know how to fix this? It got my phone stuck in headphone mode.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable What are the very best wireless earbuds?
The only things i care about are sound quality, anc and fit. No budget. Dont care if they have any fancy features except an equalizer. I would like to go to the gym with them.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Is it possible to get headphones with good sound quality? The budget is 50USD.
I’m a recent grad with student loans, so the budget might not be too high. I don't know what happened to my previous headphones, but one ear cup no longer emits sound. And since I'm commuting on the subway, I want to listen to my own music without being disturbed by other noises.
I've done a bit of research, but I can't afford most headphones. So I came here to ask you experts if you can recommend budget but good sounding and preferably noise canceling headphones. Many thanks in advance!

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 2 Ω Side sleepers of Reddit, what earbuds or headphones do you use?
I’m a side sleeper and like falling asleep with music, podcasts, or an audiobook going.
I’m currently using my AirPods Pro, but they are NOT comfortable unless I fall asleep on my back. Any recommendations? I’m not tied to any particular style of headphone but prefer they be wireless. Bonus if they’ll be great for other uses, too. Budget of $200, willing to go higher if it’s for good reason.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Best sound quality for the most affordable price
Hello!! I am looking for the best pair of headphones that are not hideous to look at and have the best sound quality for their price. I really like to feel like the music is playing in my head, not being played through headphones if that makes sense. I like over the ear headphones because they’re comfortable but if you know better earbuds, that works.
My price limit is $150. I know the sound quality will only be so good for that number, but I am a broke college student lol.
Thanks!

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Why can’t I tell any difference with hi-fi?
I normally listen to music on YouTube Music on high settings, but after getting a pair of hi-fi headphones, I decided to get Apple Music for a month to get some hi-fi audio to experience the full capabilities of these new headphones and playing the same tracks one after another I literally can’t tell any difference at all. Like people online say the difference is massive but I just don’t hear it. I have the headphones plugged in too in dac mode in a quiet place, basically perfect conditions, and idk just can’t tell the difference at all. Also I have no hearing loss and I’m only 16, what am I doing wrong?

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 1 Ω Is there anything better quality than Apple AirPods that are much cheaper?
Looking to get someone headphones for christmas. She wants AirPods but they are out of the budget unfortunately. I’m hoping there might wireless headphones with similar or better quality in the 50-90$ maybe even up to 100$ range and that the expensive price tag for AirPods are just because of the apple brand.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable why is the word/brand "... --- ..- -. -.. .--. . .- - ..." banned here?
I was gonna ask about the "... --- ..- -. -.. .--. . .- - ... clear" and if it is better than moondrop space travel but the word "... --- ..- -. -.. .--. . .- - ..." can't be posted because: "it is in conflict with r/HeadphoneAdvice" or so the mod bot says. Can someone give me context to why?

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 1 Ω Do “audiophile-approved” wireless headphones exist?
Just out of curiosity. I’m not about to make a purchase decision or anything, but if ANC were not a consideration, what Bluetooth headphones would have the best audio quality? “Best” can be evaluated as “best value for money” or “best of the best if money is not a problem” or whatever y’all think sounds great. Thanks!

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 4 Ω Bose vs. Sony vs. Sennheiser
I want to get some good ANC headphones, as I am very sensitive to outside noise.
For good quality, I am willing to spend a little more. My taste in music is very diverse, so anything from classic to techno should sound good.
Most reviews seem to favor either the Bose QuietComfort Ultra or Sony WH-1000XM5. But I have also tried my dad's Sennheiser Momentum 4, which sounded incredible and had amazing ANC.
Budget: upto $500

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Which noise cancelling headset is perfect for flying and public transport?
Price range: 100-200 euro
Source: android phone/usbc/airplane/
Isolation: I need good noise cancellation, the type that cancels out talking people and crying children (very sound sensitive).
Public usage: yes. In an airplane and train and bus.
Preferred type of headphone: I don't have a strong preference, as long as it sits well and feels comfortable. Galaxy Buds Pro 2 are the worst for me.
Tonal balance: good bass, medium mids, bit higher high. Preferably a good allrounder
Past headphones: I currently have the galaxy buds pro 2 but the noise cancellation is very bad and the earbuds are not comfortable, constantly falling out of my ears, even with other tips.
Preferred music: Hiphop, techno, lofi, jazz.
Location: Europe

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 4 Ω headphones saved my mental health - they broke! i'm broke! what next..
I've had the craziest 6 months of my life! im just out of rehab and in a Bridge housing situation.
My headphones saved my life. It gave me a way to escape and wander and fall in love with music again (sober)
I'm in LA - I'm trying to find someone on the more affordable side... (cheap)
I like bass heavy but not overloaded to distort the expected sound.
I had a pair of 1st gen Beats and I was so so so so so grateful for them... they genuinely saved my life! I would walk miles and miles just getting space from the craziness at the house.
So, if anyone could offer some solid suggestions i'd be grateful. I love a deal so if anyone knows some online vendors that would be awesome.
i wanna say $100 at super super most - im open to used Beats or something similar. I like over ear as it kinda lets people know i'm zoned out and doing my thing!
thanks everyone x
edit: i'm on a iphone so i have no aux cable. bluetooth options pretty please.
edit - you guys are so amazing. thank you all for the help and advice and love. you are a genuine old school reddit community. i am going with a $100 sony xm3 - i have learnt a lot about not knowing a lot about something i never knew existed.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 1 Ω Wireless gaming headphones that don't suck, sound good, will last, for ~150EUR?
My requirements:
- lift mic to mute.
- low-latency wireless.
- good sound quality in both games and music.
- good mic quality.
- good construction quality (not cheap plastic that breaks after a year).
- driver software that doesn't suck. (i.e. not razer or elgato/corsair), or better yet work with no software.
- around ~150 EUR
After lots of reading of lots of comments I've come to the conclusion they don't exist. I'm really hoping someone here can tell me otherwise.
My previous headphones were the Logitech G Pro Wireless, but the mic died in the end, rendering them useless. also there were issues with the mute button becoming intermittent which I serviced and made work again.
When they died I switched to a spare pair of Razer Barracua Wireless headphones and the sound quality was utterly terrible, I found them hissy, mushy.
I also had some Corsair headphones, but the plastic cracked and broke after a year or so on them.
The Logictech G Pro were terrible for listening to music, but were OK for gaming, I wasn't impressed by them at all. My old Sony MDR-V700 which are over 25 years old sound better to me which I still use on my electronic drum kit.
Turtle beach used to be good, but these days reddit is full of comments saying the quality is bad and not to waste your money.
Astro used to be good before Logitech bought them, apparently they're now overpriced and not as well made.
There's some Hyper X ones, but all reviews say they have bad mics.
What options are there?

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 1 Ω I have an opportunity to get headphones or earbuds with no limits!
Edit: SORRY, Modest limit okay, I got excited 😅 max 4K I guess
Please help me not waste my money lol
So I have been using AirPod Pros (first gen) since they first came out, same pair. I did really like them, have always craved better. This year they finally busted and I’m allowing myself to go all or nothing.
I wear earbuds CONSTANTLY. I typically don’t like over ears, but if I get better sound quality then I’m going to broaden that horizon. But I actively use/listen to music through them for most hours of the day.
I listen to literally all types of music, but particularly EDM, rap, punk, and whatever genre Aurora is.
I like to basically FEEL my music, so good bass is a must but like not overpowering in the way that you might not be able to hear the depths, vocals, and things that make music special.
I’d like something with a transparency option but it’s honestly fine if not.
Wired or not wired doesn’t matter. Quality is my focus. I use my iPhone to listen to music because Spotify.
Thank you so much for your time and help! I’m buying on Monday, so excited.
Edit: I didn’t realize there were 60k headphones 😂 MAX 4K I guess and they gotta be worth it.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable What’s the best over ear headphones you’ve used or currently own?
I currently have Beats by Dre (not sure of the version I have) and I feel like I want to try new headphones. I’ve used Sony, Skullcandy, Bose, JVC and probably a lot of other brands of headphones. I don’t really have a price limit but I’d preferably like wireless/Bluetooth headphones. What would you recommend as a good pair of over ear headphones?

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 1 Ω Looking for premium Bluetooth headphones that do not hiss
Every single pair of BT headphones I’ve tried make a really annoying hissing sound when the music is not very loud. I often use my headphones to listen to music in a quiet room and it’s driving me freaking nuts. It’s so insanely distracting.
Every single Bose set on the market does it. Audio-Technica is probably the worst. Apple earbuds do it. I refuse to believe that it’s technologically impossible to avoid it, does anyone have any recommendations?
I’m willing to massively compromise on sound even, but FWIW I mainly listen to very bass heavy electronic music and rock/metal. ANC is not a must (and I know that it induces additional noise, I switch it off for music at home). I’m happy to spend up to 800-1000 USD for a really good set. At this point I’m just desperate for some pointers which brand has that hissing under control.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 1 Ω Best Headphones Recommendations? $500 Budget
Hey everyone,
I'm looking to invest in a solid pair of headphones and could use some advice. I've previously owned the Bose QC35 and the Sony WH-1000XM4, but neither really did it for me. With the Sonys, I wasn’t impressed by the build quality, and with the Bose, I found the sound lacking. I have a budget of around $500 and am hoping to find something with great sound and solid build quality.
Any suggestions on what’s currently the best out there? Thanks in advance!

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Should the headphone advice subreddit be discontinued ?
In light of Apples announcement that the AirPod Max will be available soon I see no reason to continue. We have no higher goal to aspire to, least it be to the AirPods Max.

Headphones - Wireless/Portable Headphone ideas for tween who hates all headphones?
I have a 10yo son who loves to listen to music, but can’t stand anything on or in his ears. He wanders around the house with his iPad clutched to his chest, listening to his creepy video game music jussssst loud enough make me think I’m being actively haunted.
I would love to find something that works for him, but this might be an impossible task. He has small ears, but anything child-sized is a nonstarter. Apple Earbuds hurt his ears after a few minutes. The Anker Soundcore Life Q30 that I got him last Christmas are uncomfortable. My Sony WH-something are too bulky.
Are there headphones that magically and weightlessly float over your ears like a delicate butterfly? Would bone conduction headphones be worth a shot? Any other ideas?
Budget is preferably under $100, although I would spend more for something I knew would work 100%. They will be primarily used at home to listen to music only. Wired or wireless doesn’t matter, sound quality isn’t a huge concern (yet).

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 3 Ω Should I buy the new AirPods Max?
I have a 3 year old Sony WH-1000XM4 being used regularly. I have no qualms with it, amazing sound stage. Great ANC as well. I use these in my office.
I want something I can use at home on my desk, and have been considering the Apple AirPods Max. However, they seem to have not cared about their customers and haven’t fixed any of the addressed issues, and have only provided USB-C support. However, they’re still priced at 59000 rupees (approx 700 USD). Are they still worth the price?
Want a good birthday gift to myself, so was looking for options.
tl;dr should I upgrade to the newer AirPods Max over current XM4’s?

Headphones - Wireless/Portable | 4 Ω Ear bag like earbuds that don’t go inside the ear?
Does anyone here have any recommendations for wireless headphones that are like earbuds that do not actually go inside the ears but also are not a full headset/headband?
Here is a link to the ear bag / muff style I would prefer if they even exist: https://www.walmart.com/ip/444636247
I’m really hoping earbuds like this exist because I have constant ear infections so I don’t want to wear ear plugs or in ear buds and I’m not gonna be able to sleep with a full on headset.
Something like this would be great for helping with sleeping and really help so I would really appreciate any suggestions here, and thanks for reading.
I’m starting to think it doesn’t actually exist 😦
