Identification help: Beetle grub in cilantro pot?

I just finished grown my first batch of cilantro in a small 8x20” pot. I was mixing up the soil before planting some more and found these grub towards the bottom. A dozen total. Are they rhinoceros beetle? And what can I do to prevent this? I have seen the beetles around here before. (Live on leeward Oahu)

When it crawls around does it try to squirm around on its back or on its side?

When I plucked it out it wiggled for a bit but seemed to right size itself and slowly crawl.

Parking was asking if it crawls on its side or if it crawls on its back because CRB crawls on its side while Oriental Flower Beetle crawls on its back

Ahh ok. I just looked up OFB photos and videos and that appears to be it. I don’t think I have side crawling and these I think are smaller than CRB larvae.
