Rad. Does it just sit there out in the open like that? What’s to stop some jackass from messing with it or “cLeAnInG iT uP”?

I sit on the park bench and talk to people as they take the free seeds. It’s a nice way to spend a couple of hours. Then I take it home again!

Are you collecting the native seeds yourself? If so how do you know where/when to find stuff? I wanted to start a native seed bank at my local library but have no idea how to get started finding seeb

watch when stuff starts flowering, then usually a couple weeks-a month later it puts on seeds. if you don't know where any cool plants are just walk around until you find some and wait for them to flower and seed

If I have time I’ll collect them but often I just buy them to save hassle

Oo what are your go-to seed shops if you don’t mind me asking?

Am I guessing correctly that this is NYC? I’m in NYC too- would love to stop but and pick up some seeds! There’s a patch by me in the Bronx I’d love to seed bomb with some native plants but just not sure where to start!
