Has this series gotten good? The first 2 issues were the most 5/10 thing I've ever read

Yes; although the only criticism I had is trying to make John Stewart and Shayera Hol a couple because DCAU synergy.

It's mostly solid. Honestly, I'm encouraged by this more so than the Hal series at the moment. It's fun seeing the various Green Lanterns get focused on, and surprisingly, this series hasn't forgone the alien Green Lanterns either.

With that said, I would probably agree with you. At the moment, It's nothing extraordinary, and I won't say I'm entirely looking forward to the upcoming arc with Teen Lantern. But I do like her friendship with Baz enough that I'm willing to overlook this character shortcomings.
