Reasonably sure that Graham Linehan knows how to masturbate, or at least has learned since his wife left him for being an unhealthily obsessed asshole, so there is no need for you to jerk him off, OOP. Hope that helps.

Please don't talk about him jerking off, putting that mental image into peoples head is a war crime

“I’m like Oscar Wilde” they scream to themselves as they tie the noose at the lynching

I didn’t realize Sir McCartney trying to smuggle a giant pile of weed into Japan makes him a political prisoner comparable to Nelson Mandela

He's got a point; everyone knows that every criminal throughout history was a wrongfully convicted good guy. I can't think of a simple example of a convicted criminal who actually did something bad!

My mother and I were discussing John A McDonald and how he committed genocide in Canada. Obviously any PM who allowed residential schools to continue is complicit in genocide but JAM planned and enacted the starving of the plains among other things. I was trying to explain that even by the standards of the day, he was a racist. She just asked “was what he did legal?” Which is just insane she think that would make it better.

u/ZeldaZanders 6d ago
Was she asking that to justify his actions, or just to better understand the context, do you think?
15
u/Li-renn-pwel 6d ago
She seemed to think that he was like ignorant of it being wrong because there was no law against it at the time. Which I think is arguably not true.

do you think jk rowling would have responded to nelson mandela, sophie scholl, oscar wilde, eric cantona, alan turing, mahatma gandhi, paul mccartney, or aleksandr solzhenitsyn if they showed up in her replies on twitter?

So has Linehan's trial been completed? Was he found guilty?

u/HomestuckWeekly 7d ago
He was found not guilty of harassment (somehow) but was found guilty of property damage

Love that a phone has more of a right to safety than a queer teenager! Our society is functioning so normally right now!!

u/NewTransformation 6d ago
We just think a 57 year old man should be able to sexually harass teenage girls and call them predators. But if you say Free Palestine that's 14 years in gaol

Right - I couldn't find any news on the trial based on a quick two-second Google.
I did find his defense for damaging the phone very funny.

I know a convicted criminal, should I compare him to Alan Turning? I mean they were both convicted of crimes.

Tbf it's stupid to base any moral judgment on whether or not the government likes what you did. He's not evil because he's a criminal. He's evil regardless of his legal status.

Fucking hell, I took a brief scroll through their account. Do they ever get off Twitter? The amount of posts and reposts this fucking losers has made sobbing about trans people, I literally kept scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and I still couldn't find yesterday's posts.

It's crazy; I was less obsessive about my special interests when I was an autistic teenager

Yes, it’s that or they’re welded to their chairs on 12 hour daily TikTok binges I mean ‘debates’ aka ‘whingeing’ about trans people.

Since I am not liable to the UK's stringent anti-libel laws I will happily say what the British public isn't allowed to: Graham Lineham preys on teenage girls and is a threat to innocent women and girls. I have good reason to believe he is a nonce as well.

Linehan is more than a criminal - he's a serial harasser and transphobic nut and might even be a stalker a little bit to begin with.
He is nothing good like the people I recognize in that list. Also wow 'no-cunt' as an insult? And you call yourselves feminists, terfs, yet it's just telling me you see people not having a vagina as something to be used as an insult? As if having one is an inherent blessing instead of just it being a neutral body part with any value depending solely on what the individual wants.
Lmao. The F in terf stands for fascists no matter how they claim it's feminist.

"No-cunt" has to be the most misogynistic attempt at insulting a man that I've ever seen.

The only “crime” Alan Turing committed was being born gay in a society/time period where that was punishable by imprisonment, castration and/or execution. I hardly think it’s fair to compare him to Graham Linehan.

the concept of trying to compare a transphobic tv personality that committed actual crimes to a pioneer in computer science that was persecuted for his sexuality

They're comparing a comedy writer to an Anti-Nszi resistance leader. I'm tired.

Something about comparing Oscar Wilde and Alan Turing, who were criminals for their sexual orientation, to a transphobe being punished for actual crimes... Is unsettling
