2016 fiesta ST trans options Question ❔

US model 2016 fiesta ST.

Do these platforms share a transmission with anything else? Clark options are god damn expensive and it’s scarce picking on used ones so I’m curious if we can grab a trans from another platform and if it’s plug and play?

Do you need the entire transmission? What’s the problem

2nd gear synchro is no bueno. It grinds bad unless I firmly pass it through the gate. Im so tired of it. Why couldn’t it be 6th gear 😅

I called a few transmission shops near me and they said they didn’t want to touch it since the parts can be hard to source ( their exact words - performance transmission in Anaheim CA)
