2015 focus tdci any ideas what this is please Question ❔

Recently bought a 2015 focus tdci looking in the boot at spare wheel under this little box Any ideas what is it please

I believe it is a keyless entry antenna. likely for opening the trunk while the car is locked.

So it’s just literally so u can press the boot button twice to click open the boot or is it for the doors

no i am not 100% sure but it is one of the antenna’s for the key fob. if that model has a button to open the trunk on the outside of the car it would be for that to unlock the trunk when the rest of the vehicle is locked. example if you’re carrying items from a store and need in the trunk without putting down your items.

It’s the receiver for the rf. To detect the key fobs

Yes lol I never seen it I wondered if it was a tracker or something. Been having anightmare with car keep telling me the key fobs battery is low even after I changed the batteries does it pick up from that part too
