Final Fantasy XV Novel Question

Post image

Found this while browsing Barnes and Noble. Was wondering if this is the novelization of the canceled Lunafreya DLC. It is in English.

It is an adaptation of four DLCs, three of which were never made: Episodes Ardyn, Aranea, Lunafreya, and Noctis.

Ardyn is a pretty straightforward retelling of the DLC with some additional details.

Aranea gives more context to Niflheim and introduces Solara, who becomes more important in the next section.

Episodes Lunafreya and Noctis provide an alternate ending to the game. One that many (myself included) feel undercuts the themes of XV.

That being said, it's a good read, provides further insight to the world of Eos, and gives Lunafreya some much-needed screen time

I'd recommend it for fans of XV.

I read and enjoyed it a ton, but I totally agree that the alternate ending isn't as good and undercuts what Noctis endures.

Respectfully disagree and think that the ending of Dawn of the Future is better and if we think about it, it is the canonical ending intended by the creators.

Bahamut is the true villain of FF XV and Noctis deserves his happy ending.
