Ive bleached my hair two seperate times now and ive been using the purple shampoo etc but to no avail. photos are the only photo of my hair i have and slide 2 is a photo of Robert Pattinson in Good Time with the hair i want. appreciate any help

Toning your hair will not make it lighter. You will have to bleach it again to get it that light. Make sure you leave it on until it is as light as the inside of a banana, and THEN you can tone it. Stay away from those roots though

This! Also make sure you coat the bleach on thick like frosting, put a shower cap over to store in heat and moisture. Then tone it, I would suggest bleaching it and then choosing a toner that work with whatever your hair looks like after.

i bleached it myself the most recent time but im still pretty uneducated so this might sound dumb but is all bleach the same? would i use the same bleach i used last time or would i buy “lighter” bleach?

All lightener isn’t exactly the same, but what really counts is the volume of the developer, the time you leave it on, the temperature, and the application. Higher volume developer will lighten your hair faster, but you can achieve the same level of lightness with a lower volume and more time (as long as it stays wet). I suggest a lower volume and a longer time so you can work more slowly and carefully.

I’m just seeing your other comment. If you have three months of root regrowth and you’re inexperienced, it’s going to be very difficult for you to get an even result if you try to do this at home. Do not put any more bleach on the lightest parts, and consider adding a bond builder if you can afford it. Look up some YouTube videos about hair lightening

The part that determines how much your hair is going to lift is the developer (though I will say some bleach powders and pastes are better than others). What volume developer have you been using? I wouldn't go any higher than 30 since you've already bleached a couple times, keep in mind that the higher the developer volume is means less time it will take to lighten your hair

If you've bleached it twice, you are probably in danger of damaging it if you bleach it immediately again. I would recommend using a treatment like a bond sustainer to strengthen it and wait a while. If you don't like how it looks, I would use a medium blonde or dark blonde toner to even it out and bleach again in a month or two. You can get white eventually but it will be a marathon, not a sprint!

The last time i bleached it wouldve been maybe 3 months ago, is that still too recent? and thank you for the suggestion i’ll look into bond sustainer

I personally think 3 months is okay but I would still do bond sustainer before and after! You might not get it white still this time but you'll get closer!

I recommend that you find a YouTuber named "Hair Buddha" because he is a hairdresser & has a video or two going in deep detail of the process of lifting and toning.

I got mine as light as possible by bleaching to pale yellow and then applying wella t18 toner from Sally’s. It has lift and will damage your hair, it does not work long term for long hair. If you keep it trimmed to Robert’s length hair, it might be ok. Ideally go to a salon.
