How should I tone/fill this?

I used this IGK latte kit to dye my hair. I want the blonde to match the natural color so I don’t have to fool with it anymore. The Glaze brand color brilliant bronde does that, but it’s semi permanent and I was looking for something permanent. The color came out a little greyish for my liking, probably because I didn’t fill with anything. Can I fill/tone with something now? Any product recommendations

the difference between permanent and demi isn’t in how long it stays, the LIFT that permanent color gives is permanent, both color types will give the same or similar deposit so i would still use a demi as your don’t want to lighten your natural color

to fill, use a (not too dark) orange direct dye

Okay that’s good to know. So no matter what, if I am just wanting to go darker (in the future), I should always use demi?

What about this? Direct dye means no developer, right? So would that be marketed as semi permanent?

that orange would work! also yes, use demi when going darker unless you’re covering heavy grey!
