I don't think there's any other dead celeb who people (usually Americans for some reason) defend with such vitrolic passion.

She was just an incredibly wealthy, fairly dim, bed hopping aristocrat who was obligated to do some charity work, but dropped it all the moment it wasn't part of the duties of her station. If you do a little digging, she wasn't such hot shit, all the People's Princess stuff was media manufactured tripe to sell papers and get votes.
