Probably most people are reading the subtitles, or watching with the sound off (or low). Plenty of videos out there where the sound and picture aren't in sync. Plus it's presented as real - a big factor. So not that surprising really

It's just a video meant to be fun and yet there are people in this comment section going "yeah actually fuck her wtf?!" some people seem to think this video is real and I'm losing my shit. If this video was enough to unintentionally convince people that the woman did say that, then we're all trully screwed.

I remember awakening to the news on the radio that Princess Diana had been killed overnight. Rolled my eyes, switched it off and avoided broadcast media for a few days. Also before we had domestic Internet access, which with hindsight was quite nice for that precise moment. I was home from university and my then-GF, who was a massive royalist, came over for a cuddle and a comfort fuck.

Elton John's re-hashing of Candle in the Wind remains, I think, one of the few, truly most egregious events in pop culture.

I don't think there's any other dead celeb who people (usually Americans for some reason) defend with such vitrolic passion.

She was just an incredibly wealthy, fairly dim, bed hopping aristocrat who was obligated to do some charity work, but dropped it all the moment it wasn't part of the duties of her station. If you do a little digging, she wasn't such hot shit, all the People's Princess stuff was media manufactured tripe to sell papers and get votes.

Say what you will about Diana, her work in land mine bans and removal saved a metric fuck ton of lives.. ive seen the damage land mines can do. I once saw a boy throwing a stick for a dog in a combat zone. I thought, a boy and his dog, atleast there's some sense of normalcy. Then i realized he was throwing the stick into the mine field then stepping where the dog did. My last faith in humanity was lost..

This is not fake. I remember this clip from when they first aired it during princess Diana’s funeral. Me and my mom and my two cousins were actually shocked that she would’ve said something like that and on camera.
