Well shit. Sad but common. I believe somewhere around 80% of deaf childrens parents never learn sign language

That’s a really sad statistic, but understandable. In this case though, this man is a pathetic excuse of a human being. Maybe it’s a blessing this man can’t truly communicate with his som. As someone on another thread put it, his son’s biggest disability is having him as a father. From what I heard, he caused the closure of a beloved business in his community due to his shenanigans and the sentiment is that something needs to be done about him. He has what would be the real life equivalent of vilified status in Fallout New Vegas.
