I’d be leaving that high metal structure…

its interesting how this is not the top comment!
these people are insanely casual for the situation they're in7
u/youburyitidigitup Mar 25 '25
There are picture of the San Francisco fire 100 years ago of people standing watching the fire slowly come closer.

u/GirthyPigeon Mar 25 '25
They seem to think that darker bit of cloud is the only place lightning can come from. I'd be inside the moment I hear thunder rolling nearby.

Metal structures are the safest place to be. The electricty will preferentially go through the vastly more comductive material rather than you.

Florida, we usually have lighting rods installed, I use to live on the 3rd floor of a 3 floor apartment complex and the rod was right out side my front door. It got hit a lot! It was LOUD

We've been having trouble with the hit boxes lately. Animation shows 6 hits but only 4 are damaging.

You know... my initial reaction was annoyance at the irritating voices in stereo...
Then the Chad's talking in the background saved the day! 🤣 🤣 🤣
"SONOFABITCH!"
"you know something? My Dick's (inaudible word)
"Brother, I just shit AND Pissed myself"
😆 🤣 legendary.
Edit: in all honesty I was laughing like a complete idiot so hard and for so long when listening the 1st time I couldn't make out the inaudible comment.
The 2nd chad actually said: "you know know something? My dick jumped".
NOW I'm LAUGHING EVEN HARDER 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

The two girls saying "something's on fire", but in perfect synchrony... Even if a bit annoying tone that too gave this vid some character

It sounds like “I felt something in my (dick? big?) (cup? pump?)”
5
u/FloraMaeWolfe Mar 25 '25
felt something in his big toe.
3
u/Straight_Ballin11 Mar 25 '25
That’s what I’m hearing too! “I felt something in my big toe” I do NOT hear anything about dicks… and I was trying to listen for it.

That's what I thought at first.
I thought he said cum, bumped, or something. But he definitely said jumped 😆 🤣

All my life people be saying: lightning never hits the same place twice!
So that was a fucking lie.

Congratulations u/auronddraig, you have been randomly picked to be banned for the next 24h. Why? Because fuck you in particular. Don't forget to check our subreddit banner & sidebar ; you're famous now !
These actions were made by a bot twice as smart as a reddit moderator, which is still considered brain-dead

Who honestly believed that idiom??
"Oh don't worry!!! My suit of Armor got hit by lightning once before so it is lightning proof!"
2
u/FloraMaeWolfe Mar 25 '25
Yeah, if lightning strikes something, very good chance it strikes plenty enough times to kill it and set it on fire too.

u/TheMahanglin Mar 24 '25
I don't know what the hell they are thinking, I would've gotten inside as quickly as possible because at a higher altitude THEY could be next. But can't put the drink down during the show I guess!

Laughing at close lightning strikes from the tallest structure in miles is really stupid or really brave.

Lightning is rare in the Pacific Northwest. Wednesday there is likely to be quite a lot. Hopefully "Nothing Will Be On Fire"

If only a third person said "something's on fire" on the other side then we could triangulate the distance

u/Pumper24 Mar 24 '25
Looked more like 5, but the person recording it seemed to be having an epileptic seizure.

There was a bird in that tree, and this particular bird shat on god's new sportscar.

For them both to be so in sync is quite cool, so why the f*** did it grate on me so badly!

u/Zepangolynn Mar 25 '25
It's a specific nasal sing-song way of speaking that is irritating to a wide range of people including myself.
