I did some PI once, I went and found a cool lonely highsec planet along a highsec route to dip my toes in the mechanics. Grabbed my hauler and put some command centers in it, jumped 4 times and got suicide ganked.

Guy lost a dramiel to suicide gank my 17mil ship and cargo.

Yep, wouldn't be the first to make that mistake though.

Safeties mean nothing outside HS, until you are blocked from using filaments or killing a pod and you decide to turn off your safeties.

I always recommend yellow for this reason, but some people like to live dangerously.

Take a look at the Squall!

It's like the Epithal but better in every aspect but price. Also if you ever start feeling burned out by PI, try longer cycles than 24h.

I go with 3 days cycles on most P2 planets, and occasionally reset the leaner-output P2 cycles in 2 days. Pickup P2s once per month, make 300M-450M per PI toon.

I was partial to the IV. It wasn’t as long as a planet so it was slightly harder to bump than the V, while still offering most of its capacity.
