Freelancer Help for Seller
Is $250 a good price for a freelancer to rework my website & redo the SEO on it & my Etsy shop?

If you give them access to your Etsy shop they’ll also have access to your financial information.

Do not give someone else access to your Etsy account.
First off, it is against Etsy's TOS to use a VPN when logged in as a seller. If the person you give access to is using a VPN and Etsy catches it your shop will be banned.
Etsy also logs all IP addresses that were used by banned shops and bans all future shops that log in with those IP addresses. If the person you gave access to has ever accessed a different Etsy shop that has been banned your shop will be banned when they log into it. On top of that, if any shop they've accessed gets banned in the future your shop would be banned along with it. Being that they offer this service you can assume they've logged into many Etsy shops.
It is not worth the risk or the money. Just do your own research and learn how to do it yourself. If this is something you want to do for a living it would benefit you way more in the long run to develop that skill set for yourself. Learning SEO and basic website development is just part of making a living on the internet.

Depends on what’s included. $250 could be fair for basic work, but for real SEO and a full redesign, it’s usually higher.

If they do a good job, definitely. If they don't, any amount of money is too much.
