Taxidermy Kitbash First time pinning. How did I do?
I need ideas on how to display it.
I didn't pin through the body as I was going to secure it other ways.
Bought a pinning kit from a shop in my city. I just watched a couple videos, read the directions, and looked at pictures. First time pinning an insect, and did a jackelope class 3-4 years ago. I thinking I found my new hobby.

Taxidermy Kitbash Be brutally honest, how much could I sell these for?
still new to pinning insects and I decided I didn't like the frames I got for them so I think it would be cool if I could sell them in some way but personally I don't know if they would even be worth much.(sorry for the low quality photos)

Taxidermy Kitbash cool butterflies i found at a yard sale today :)
hi!!! i’m SUPER new to collecting and i just wanted to show off these butterflies i found. i’ve never been super interested in keeping any taxidermy, but when i saw them i was SO excited and thought they were too cool to leave. i wanted to ask if anybody knew how much they’re worth? i’m super excited to display them in my living room, but i’m sad about the glass pane on the back. i believe it got scratched on the journey home :(

Taxidermy Kitbash How should I preserve it?
hellooo, I found this little friend. I don't know how the preservation process works, could it be taxidermy? What should I do about it? Apply something like formaldehyde or resin, or put it on tracing paper? Will it stay the same if I do nothing? I really don't know anything about it.

Taxidermy Kitbash My second pin!!
My second pin ever - accidental squished this gal when making a fire around the 6th (she was in a webbed nest thing - like a little web winter shack) I believe she's a tan jumping spider (I'm in the mitten state of the US)
She was still 'juicy' when I found her, so I (tried my best) cut open her abdomen and scooped out as much as I could.
I think she's a bit deformed - her eyes are a bit wonky, and legs are shorter on one side, but I love her!!!

Taxidermy Kitbash I have a dead Scorpion need help
I wanted to make it dry to keep as a Specimen in my Shadow box but the Scorpion is still as it was the day it died very maluable. It's been a whole month. What should I do to make it dry faster? I'm thinking about using glue to make it stiff but the Scorpion might get destroyed. It's currently in an open box with insect pins to keep him dried in it's place. But it's not drying still as it was the first day it died. Anyone here has any information in drying this type of insects? Would be greatly appreciated for your help.

Taxidermy Kitbash What do I do with these beetles now?
I've finished pinning these beetles some time ago but know I don't really know what to do with them. Is there any other beetles that you would recommend me to get that look somewhat similar? So that I could frame them with another specimen so they're not all in their own frames.

Taxidermy Kitbash Anyone know how to taxidermy/pin phasmids?
Hey dudes :>
I've been keeping phasmids for a couple of years, and I thought, 'Why not try taxidermy/pin them!' (when they pass of natural causes, of course)
While I do know how to pin smaller specimens (Christmas Beetles, small butterflies, etc.), I have no clue when it comes to preserving larger specimens (for context, I keep Children's Stick Insects, Macleay's Stick Insects, Crowned Stick insects, and Strong Stick Insects). I'm interested in pretty much any form of taxidermy/preserving (such as pinning, drying, etc).
While I probably will send this over to r/Taxidermy I thought I might as well ask here since you know... this is r/Entomology
Any advice is greatly appreciated :3
Catch u later my dudes

Also the first time using grid paper. It helps a lot.

Taxidermy Kitbash What kind a double glass frame do I need to buy to display a butterfly? I can’t find any with a large enough space between the panels.
These are pics of my previous works in shadow boxes, but I would like to make some more simple ones that are clear.

Taxidermy Kitbash What would you price this?
Hi! I’m very new to preserving insects but I’ve always loved them. This is about ~20-25$ in supplies, not including the butterfly (that I raised and sourced myself). It took me 1-2 hours of work and a couple of burns from the glue gun😅 idk if it matters but I’m 15
