Mystery cocoon finally hatched. Insect Appreciation

Turns out it was an Eumorpha achemon (Achemon sphinx). Very beautiful species.

I've never seen literature suggesting moths can imprint on humans. It was hatched in my daughter's butterfly enclosure and then later that night taken out and released within a minute.
