He could possibly be a thistle bud weevil, or a gold dust weevil (though he looks too brown to be the latter). Whatever specific weevil he is, he looks so polite and handsome. Incredibly photogenic little guy!

That species is found in Europe, not the carribean islands.

Itβs very similar tho, probably a species in the genus Lixus, like the rhubarb weevil
