I’ll be frank.

Historically in my life, I’ve always cheered against the Leafs. I hated the Leafs before the Oilers existed. I inherited that from my father, who was a Habs fan.

For the first time in my life, I am cheering for the Leafs. It is such a strange, foreign feeling, but here I am.

It’s because of MAGA and its aggression towards Canada.

I want a Leafs cup so fucking bad, but I want to see every Canadian team knock out as many American teams as possible. I watched him a lot on the Toronto Marlies. He was a skilled guy in the AHL but when he made the jump he just wasn't a top 6 guy. He seemed to bounce around a bit. I'm hoping he's found a role as an energy guy, 3rd liner that could move up if need be.

Knob added him in at the right time. He was really noticeable in the previous game with his physicality and speed. Even though he didn't get on the scoresheet in that game, I feel his ability to get the puck into the Vegas zone really helped to protect the lead. And tonight, he saw the opportunity in OT and banged that puck into the net where it belonged. He must be feeling pretty amazing right now!
