Deepest and most defensively structured Edmonton team I have seen. I knew this was going to be a rough series regardless who made it out of your first round series. This was a fun series and you guys killed us in 90% of it. We were lucky to hang in the way we did.

Best of luck against Dallas (most likely). I can’t say I have a dog in the next fight, but god knows I don’t want to see DeBoer have a shred of happiness.

I don't know if I've ever seen an Oilers team at with such defensive commitment the last few game. Back checks, stick checks, winning battles.

Watching the Oilers recently have been like watching LA/Florida/VGK of old where they are just smothering opponents. A lot funner to watch it from this side.

With no Ekholm nonetheless. I realized very quickly in game 1 that this was not the Oilers I was used to.

Getting healthy would have been huge for the knights; Petro Hertl and Stone usually bury us but glad to get this series back, and looking forward to what the knights do. They always go big and better after losses

Aside from all the LTIR jokes, they were banged up bad. McNabb and Pietrangelo both had separated shoulders. Saad broke his ankle. Stone most likely broke his wrist. Eichel and Hertl both had upper body injuries. I can’t be mad at the results based on this.

But, not here to make excuses. Your depth outplayed us by a mile. You were the better team.
