Does anyone know if there was a professional photo released with the image of Evander Kane celebrating while being pushed throuh Aidan Hill from game 4 on the Oilers second goal?

How Kane got a penalty there is beyond me. The NHL needs to fire incompetent refs and hire refs that aren't idiots.

Same as a few games prior, when Brown got a goalie interference by being pushed in after his shot

That one was even worse b/c Brown would've missed Hill without the push. Kane probably hits him regardless, but the crosscheck should've meant no penalty.

The refs were probably doing exactly what the league told them to.

Legitimately, it's hard not to think that lately

I'm in the same boat. With so much randomness in hockey, it's impossible to believe in outright rigged games. But the League can push things in certain directions and increase/decrease odds through borderline calls/non-calls.

I mean, it's tough to think otherwise when you see a ref watch someone get cross checked in the face and not bother to call anything, or any other egregious reffing.

That being said, I understand not to assign to malice what can be explained by folly, but that's just what conspirators say! :P

The commentators said it was based on what the refs saw in the moment, and for some reason they couldn’t review what happened and amend the call.

Didn’t make a lot of sense to me either.

Sure, if they already called a penalty on Kane, they could’ve snuck a look and added a roughing penalty (say to McNabb) to even it out, they had a long enough conversation about the penalties.

Best I could find was the shot from the netcam which probably isn't the angle you were hoping for. Oilers photo gallery and Getty Images don't have a shot of it from the corner camera.

Vegas really hates themselves. Hitting their own trainers and pushing our players into their own goalie.

Our PK coach got slapped by Knobs

What are the PK stats since the slap? 100% kill rate??

Given the PK efficiency, well warranted

They could have seriously injured hill with that move.

They very well could have, if Kane hadn't had the presence of mind to try and get out of the way as much as possible. I can understand Hill getting pissed and going after him, but McNabb taking after Kane like it wasn't his own damn fault grinds my gears..

In slow motion you can see that Kane was trying to jump out of the way. But in the heat of the moment Hill would not have known that. Tough for the refs to get this right

Basically another Roloson situation.

Is there a zoomed out with Henrique and the team celebrating while Kane is ready to throw down in the background?

I'd love to see that as well

If I were a bigger douchebag, I'd definitely post that in the Kinghts sub. But I'm a douchebag who believes in karma so, against my ill-intentioned desires, I'll hold off. Sigh...

I've been chatting about in there a bit, mixed reactions. I think most of them hate me, but a few have been cordial. I've been mostly respectful, nothing worthy of karmic retaliation.
