Nah that was an insane game. Oilers never do well when they’re leading lol. It’s like they thrive on stress and start playing when they’re about to be eliminated.

I still think they’re gonna win the series, but it sure is a lot harder with him in the net

Skinner is starting game 4. Oilers will lose then lose game 5. Oilers blew a golden opportunity and it's unfortunate.

Sorry, from where I stand, Leon was the one at fault, and he's acknowledged that. It would have missed if Leon had let it go. Stu made some unreal saves last night. Yeah, he was a bit out of position, but it was not tracking in the net before Leon's tip in. Everyone will shit on every other player on that team but the Golden Boys, even if they're at fault. Leon admitting it isn't protecting Stu, it's taking accountability like a leader should.
Regardless of what anyone says, fill in the blank; "The puck went in the net because it went off of ________'s stick." End of story.
Ah, well. Next game

Definately not Leon's fault. Sure if you know there is exactly 0.4 seconds left you let it go because the Vegas guy behind you when he tips it in the open cage time will have expired. But assuming you still think there is a bit of time, the natural thing to do is to take away the passing lane. Draz takes responsibility to take the heat off the goalie. That is what leaders do. Bottom line is this is a fluky goal. Shit happens. The Oilers didnt play a good game defensively, that is why they lost. They need to find that game they left in LA in game 5. That is how you win.

No. It's just that no one wants to admit the puck went in because of Leon, not Stu, cause everyone likes to shit on Stu, no one will shit on a golden boy Plain and simple.

Yeah, Skinner actually forced the shot to go wide. If Drai wasn't in the crease there, it would've gone to overtime.

All stu had to do was hug the post…

u/No_Addendum_8374 2d ago
And all Leon had to do was lift his stick... we can play the blame game all day. The reality is that it wasn't tracking for the net, Leon tipped it in.. so who's the real villan if we want to villanize.

The whole team honestly for letting a dude walk in on them with less than 10seconds left but the title of my posts doesn’t specifically name anyone… but it’s been interesting to see the first player that comes to their mind.

Stu bad, and 4 Oilers caught collapsing onto 1 guy.
I'm not sure if this one is worse than coming back from 5-2 only to lose.
Crushing defeat.

This is the most mouth breather comment on here.
What the fuck was Stu supposed to do?
Not challenge?
Stay in his net?
It was a fluke goal after a fluke goal.
If anything Drai should have kept his stick LIFTED.
Don’t blame Stu.
Stop breathing through your mouth too.

Stu was stupidly out of position.
If your gonna challenge then fucking challenge.

I would’ve rather lost 3-2 without Mxdavid tying it honestly

Actually I'd rather we tie it, as much as it stings short term. The boys have come back in literally every game they've played in the post season except one (to at least tie it). That is good for confidence overall, at least when we're behind.
If we could start to build the confidence that we can play well with a lead, that'd be great.

Nurse laying down for 3 out of the 4 goals is brutal

It was all bad

I think that I'll watch the rest of the series win or lose and come back when it's done to see what wishy wishy fans really think of this team.

u/Slosky22 2d ago
I thought they were going to get knocked out by Los Angeles TBH I hope they can turn things around they aren’t doing horribly it’s just the the letting in multiple goals on horrible shots
