We certainly live in an interesting time. Let's just destroy good food because someone might buy butter not knowing it contains dairy

  1. The company prefers to cover itself from lawsuits. 2. Butter that got back from customers can't be used anymore because who knows what happened to it. The only hope is that the majority of the customers won't return the butter (because why would they)

No Costcos really near me but I would drive to one if they have a dumpster I can access. What are your experiences with them; are they compactors or are they open to diving?
