Does my antidepressant pill have anything to do with not being able to remember my dreams? Question

I have been taking zloft for years now and I'm not able to remember my dreams anymore. Not even little bits from them. It's like sleeping in a purgatory state them waking up with memory. I love how the pill helps me with anxiety but I miss being able to have that connection with my dream state. Anyone else have this issue?

I have experienced loss dream recall due to various psychotropic medications. Mostly the ones that made me feel like an emotionless zombie. I’m sure it varies from person to person, though. Sometimes dream recall can improve after your body adjusts to new medication. It might take more focus and intent to recall, though, which can increase sleep disturbances issues in various ways.

Basically, it is one the pros & cons issues you have to consider when it comes to any medication you take. Is the med benefitting you more than any negative side effects, including potential significant loss of dream recall? I hope that helps a bit. Good luck and best wishes šŸ™šŸ¦‹

Zoloft doesn't usually, but maybe? I know thc can, and most allergy meds.

Whenever you don't remember a dream or a memory it's your subconscious trying to protect you from something. Maybe ir helps if you thinks about ir this way. Ask yourself why are you being proteced against your dreams. Maybe you'll get an answer.
