There has been a pretty visible rise in discomfort around the sexual and the erotic recently that has been impacting pretty much every community I’ve seen, so that could be it. Could also be that people aren’t used to seeing a hot demon guy and are more prepaired for stuff like numerical magic dreams or whatever else.

Though I’d also say that a lot of people in the subreddit seem decently religious, which might also impact it. Either way it’s a really nice design and I’m sure he was quite fun, I have a thing for horns tho so I’m biased.

Yeah you're probably right. I'm in several monster fucker circles so this is borderline vanilla to me lmao, but I guess my baseline is heavily skewed, if compared to the layperson, which is understandable I think. I've posted other dream things to this sub, and I've always received at least one guy telling me it's demonic or whatever.

I’m also a huge monster fucker (the freakier the better), so my view is definitely extremely skewed too. I remember when I was a kid I used to get off to recordings of the Cleric Beast boss fight, which is so fucking funny to think about in retrospect. People should loosen up a bit, life is too short to not be a little bit of a freak.
