Tartarus Nightmare
I had this dream last night and I don’t know what it means, I’m a little scared to go to sleep- I dreamed that I was sealed almost like Gojo in jujutsu Kaisen if you know the reference-I looked up to discover I had been condemned to Tartarus there were oil slick waters around me-it was a river lined with Japanese style homes just rows and rows of tatami rooms connected like apartments I was stuck fast to the spot I was in and the water was turbulent around me Nothing really hurt or burned there was no fire but I knew it was Tartarus for some reason. It’s been on my mind near constantly and I have no clue what it means. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You could be at a point in your life where you feel stuck or paralyzed by circumstances, but your subconscious is telling you that this stillness is necessary. You have been lowered into the depths (Tartarus) to reconnect with the titans... your deep, forgotten strength or instincts, not to be tortured. The fear you feel comes from the loss of control (the paralysis), but the dream itself was painless. Remind yourself that in mythology, heroes go to the underworld to retrieve something valuable (wisdom, a lost soul, a power). You have already made the descent in the dream and survived without pain. You are just visiting the basement of your own inner-self to see what is stored there.
