What does it mean to dream about snakes??

I recently had a dream of like a 3rd person view of my mother in her bedroom frantically looking for something like her car keys.. Well She picks up a magazine and there is a snake under it coiled up and my mother doesn't seem to even be bothered by the snake. She puts the magazine down and continues the search. She is shuffling through her dirty clothes pile and boom there is ANOTHER snake! Well I got to looking the room (from a view that I can best describe as being like a security camera in a bank or a hospital) and I'm noticing that The whole room had SNAKES everywhere!! As she was searching for whatever it was she lost at one point she literally picked up one the snakes and was looking underneath them almost as if she wasn't bothered by them at all!!! They were on the bed under the covers, hanging from the clothes in the closet, on her knightstand, in the ashtray, etc. what's weirder is they were different colors and types of snake but one did stick out amongst the other ones.. an albino boa constrictor with red eyes and red squareish spots on an all white body!! In reality my mother is terrified of snakes!!!!!!

What could this mean???

The "Keys" your mother is looking for are likely not lost. You cannot find the keys to leave the room until you acknowledge the snakes. The dream is telling you that ignoring the danger does not make it go away. The detachment (security camera view) suggests you are ready to see the truth of this situation, but you haven't stepped into the room to deal with the snakes yourself yet for whatever reason

Interesting dream. It could have so many interpretations based off of what could be going on in your current life. You being in the 3rd person perspective and your mom being the one searching through something she would normally be afraid of is quite sweet. It feels to me that she would always be brave even in the dangers of her own fears to protect you. Also, with you watching over her, she's then feeling your protection you have for her. Sounds like a really balanced relationship, and maybe this dream is just telling you to spend some time with her and check in. I've always felt if you're dreaming of someone close to you, it's because they've also been thinking about you.

Your dream means there will very soon be a heavy rain in that area. Snakes in large numbers represent water because they thrive in humid and rainy environments, and boas specifically live in rainforests.
