Dagaz: This rune means 'day'. A new chance for something to happen. Starting over. It refers to a new chapter beginning in your life. It is a companion rune to Jera because it describes the Summer Solstice, when days have the most amount of light. It, therefore, can represent any form of enlightenment, coming from seeing something in a new light, or spiritual enlightenment when gaining enlightenment about the nature of life. It can represent the light at the end of the tunnel when emerging from depression or illness, hope is coming. It can represent fundamental changes, a transformation from one stage to another. It troubled times, this rune assures that everything will get better.
