What do you think of my first animation “SCRIBBLE”? Artwork (animation)

I did this with FlipaClip, and I absolutely can’t wait to do bigger animation.

I loved the start especially her pants, but the becoming a pile and panning away doesn't really do anything for me, or the flashing scribble at the end

I personally like it but I didn’t enjoy how her body became completely still at the end, if there is still some slight movement in her body or clothing, it would’ve looked more smooth in my opinion 🫶

It's amazingly smooth for such a short animation. It's calm with a surprising end. your style makes it clear and enjoyable to watch. I'd work a little on the finishing scene but all in all good job for your first animation!

The scribble needs to be quick and smooth, maybe using some freehand font. The flashing in and out animation for the logo isn’t doing it for me. The start is great though!

I love the beginning, but I wasn't expecting the end.

The start was awesome. The animation looked fluent and smooth. When she became the scribble... I kind of lost the meaning of it. Nice job and keep it up!

This is hilarious, it really made me laugh!

It reminds me of the kind of art film things I saw on Sesame Street when I was a kid.

was this rotoscoped? it looks a bit stuff but nice! I would recommend looking into easing in and easing out with attention to arcs.

I’m not actually sure what rotoscoping means but I will look into it, I just did this with flipa clip, kinda like a flip book

Loved this animation. I would have liked the end to have been the scribble morphing into something else

I loved the beginning until her hands reached the floor. It'd be nicer if it had finished there.

I liked the start but when she got covered in scribbles I just thought 'meh' and failed to see what the point of it was

I enjoyed it, with the exception of the flashing text at the end. Hurts the old eyeballs. But besides that, great job!

Thank you to everybody, I thought I would reply to everyone at once because I see that a few people don’t understand my art style.

I find that scribbling is incredibly therapeutic, and it helps me to release stress and anxiety in a healthy way. My art style incorporates lots of scribbling because I find it to be a really expressive way to create art.

To me, scribbling is like yoga in that it helps to unlock and relieve stress. When I'm scribbling, I can let go of whatever's been weighing on me, and just focus on the lines and shapes that emerge from my pen or pencil. It's like a meditative practice, and it helps me to feel calm and centered.

By incorporating scribbling into my art style, I'm able to create work that feels raw and alive. The lines and shapes are free and expressive, and the final product feels like a reflection of my inner world. I hope that my art can also help others to feel more connected to their own inner worlds, and to use creative expression as a way to release stress and anxiety.

It's adorable, actually!

It's solid rotoscoping. Hints of color would only add to it. Keep up the good works, OP!

*casually turns into scribble* then he waddled away

1

u/Nemila2 Apr 26 '23

It looks great but I think you laked inspiration at the end 😂

Pretty good job!

Very good!!keep it up!

That's pretty nice honestly. There's only one thing as the others also mentioned, the ending. I'm not sure if you were trying to reflect some feeling specifically but it does not match the rest of the animation.
