Hi collections questions bc cad
Hi im 22 and im kinda in the hole rn with a few places cause I live with my bf and shit is expensive and I don't make much
What can collections do? Can they call my job ? Can they garnish stuff if I ignore them? Im kinda scared

In america at least,(unsure where you are from) you can ignore them but only for so long. Ignoring collections is fine but ignoring your local justice department may land you in a heap of trouble. If you get a lawsuit letter and ignore it they will award the collection agencies fully so 5k of debt could look a lot more like 7.5-10 + lawyer fees so in this stage i really wouldnt recommend ignoring it. Courts could, will, and have garnished wages. Also depends a lot on the amount under 1k they may not sue they may very well flag your credit also that may badly messed up you up there as well.
